Ji completed both his MS and PhD in Materials Engineering from Sichuan University. His previous work focused on the computer-assisted design and preparation of high-performance polymers. He joined the Mechanical Engineering at UW-Madison in fall 2023 as a Research Associate under the guidance of Dr. Li.
Ji’s research focuses on multiscale modeling and simulation, specializes in molecular dynamics research and DFT calculations of reaction in amorphous polymers and he has great interest in accelerating materials development inspired by new methods.
