Hao completed both his M.S. and B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Dalian University of Technology. He joined Mechanical Engineering at UW-Madison in fall 2023 to pursue his PhD, working under the guidance of Dr. Li. Hao’s research focuses on multiscale modeling of polymers and exploring machine learning methods in material design. In his spare time, Hao enjoys reading, participating in sports and hiking.
